I’m not quite sure how I could sum up my 2008 but if I could express it through photographs maybe here are some of the images I could share my 2008...

Your Christmas Spirit Level: 50%

You have a lot of Christmas spirit, and it's evident to most people who know you.

You love most things Christmas, and you do your best to make sure everyone has a great holiday.

While you like the more commercial aspects of Christmas, you truly know what the spirit of Christmas is about.

You're all about giving, being kind, and sharing the spirit of Christmas with everyone you know.

Do You Have the Christmas Spirit?

There will come a time in your life when you will
become infatuated with a single soul.
For this person you'd do anything
and not think twice about it,
but when asked why ...
you have no answer.
You'll try your whole life to understand
how a single person can affect you
as much as they do,
but you'll never find out.
And no matter how badly you hate it
or how badly it hurts ...
you'll love this person without regret,
for the rest of your life...

As a hopeless romantic, I strongly believed that there is really “that one person” that you will love for the rest of your life. I may be cynical about love sometimes but a part of me still believes that this is true no matter how I refuse to accept it. I just think it’s stupid sometimes to imagine that you could actually love only one person especially if that person had stopped loving you a long time ago or if that person doesn’t love you back. Love is complicated, I stopped reasoning about love and just accept it as it comes. I cannot say I do believe in magic, I cannot say I am still that naive about love but I guess I’m still the hopeless romantic who still believes that no matter how complex my love life turned out to be and even though love seems to be elusive for me, I still believe that love will come my way and I could actually find that “one person” I could fall in love with over and over again.

Before I got sick, I was not really conscious about my health I feel like since I’m still young sickness is the last thing that could happen to me. I was wrong. It’s not easy being stricken with a life-long chronic illness and I can only imagine other people who are going through the same condition as I am. Ever since I got sick, I make it a point to research on my condition and other medical research and I recently encountered mesothelioma, a cancer caused by asbestos and it’s really tough. It’s a dreadful disease and we should really be fully aware about it.

I love playing badminton. This is the only physical exercise that I am allowed to do at least once a week but the thing is since I’ve been taking steroids for so long I have a tendency to break my bones easily and there was a time that I suffered from painful foot condition in the heel and arch area or Plantar Fasciitis, it’s a good thing I was able to surpass that and hopefully I won’t be experiencing that kind of pain ever again.

I read that these people already made it to the list:
Will Smith, Tina Fey, Tom Cruise, Miley Cyrus, Frank Langella, Rush Limbaugh and Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps

Now, the number one most fascinating people for 2008 will be revealed on December 4, 2008, now, who’s your bet?

Do you love wine? I’m more of a social drinker but not to the extent of drinking too much. This holiday season is also a time for parties and of course, wine is best served with these gatherings. There’s just too much wine in the market today that it’s difficult to know which one is the best so joining the wine of the month club is an advantage to know what’s new and what wine is the best to try.

Everyone is looking for a bargain these days. Money is just tough and we should be doing our part in saving but of course we shouldn’t deprive ourselves with the things we want and need. We can look for alternatives on how we can save like getting discount furniture, your home will surely look great this holiday season without costing too much. It’s just a matter of wise spending and choosing.
