Before I got struck with Lupus, I used to have a lot of physical activities. I regularly play badminton and mountain climbing. I also do a regular jogging around our subdivision in the morning. But when I had Lupus, I was not allowed to do any of these things because my steroid medications made my bones brittle and any physical strain would cause it to break. It was a good thing that after my 2nd cycle of chemo therapy last year, I was already allowed to play badminton and alternate my jogging using the treadmill. Well, its not as good as running but I rather have that to at least loose some excess weight due to my steroid medications.
