I see the way you look at her, the way your face lit up whenever she’s around, the way you giggles when you talk to her. I feel the way you love her, and its making me sad. I wanna be happy for you just like any good friend should feel but I can’t help but thinking what if I was the one, could you be any happier? There’s nothing I can do, I am just a friend who is willing to love you, to care for you and I can’t go on pretending that I’m not hurting because your heart didn’t choose to love me. Is this how our story ends? Believe me, I tried fighting these feelings, tried to hide it but I guess it’s too late now I am in love with you, my best friend.

If I was the one you love. There’ll be no more tears of sorrow, only tears of joy. If I was the one by your side, you’ll never have a lonely night. If I was the arms you were embracing, I’ll give you so much love you’ll never ask for more. If I was the one in your life, I can’t even begin to tell you how beautiful our lives would be. If I could just have one wish, I’d wish you were mine. I would hold you near, kiss away your tears and love you like no other. You are the one for me, can I be the one for you?

You will never be mine. I guess it is simply not meant to be. She is there in your life and she holds your heart. The lonely nights I spent alone while you share your nights with her, this doesn't feel right. A friend is all you can see in me and I try to be just a friend but my heart knows otherwise you are more than just a friend to me. My heartbreaks every time you talk about her, my heart bleeds when you run to me and seek for advice. Am I betraying our friendship knowing that deep inside my heart I am wishing that you see me the way you see her.

If only I could be the one for you like you are the one for me. If I could just ask Cupid to make you love me, if I can be more than just a friend to you. I want to be beside you, to be near you, to reach you. Sometimes I wanna scream "I Love You" out loud. There are times I pray, that I’ll find the strength to tell you all the feelings that I try to hide. The raging emotions that’s been bursting in my head and hurting my heart. We are just friends and that’s enough for me. I’ll rather have your friendship than have nothing at all. But still I can’t help but wondering all the could’ve been if I was the one in your life.

===> The year was 2000 and he's been my guy bestfriend. Every pages of my diary has his name all over it. At first, we are just really friends but after some time we became closer and I suddenly found myself in love with him. It was rather difficult at that time since he had a girlfriend and I am just his bestfriend. So I tried concealing my feelings and let me tell you unspoken love truly is like poison it kills you inside. So, what now?? Seven years had passed and I am still his bestfriend and do I still love him?? Hmmmmmmnnn........

Just wanna share one of my Taglish writing just a few years back.

Bakit Kaya Ikaw Pa?
By: Emmyrose©

I don’t wanna fall in love just yet, its the least of my priority right now, sobrang nde ko na kakayanin to have another heartbreak, pwede ba time-out muna, pero masisi mo ba ako kung slowly eh I'm falling for you?

Blame it to the irony of life!

Ibigay mo ang lahat, just for the sake of love, ika nga, pero ewan kung bakit kulang pa rin. Hmp!

Minsan naman hintay ka ng hintay, sobrang tagal pero willing ka pa rin to wait for “the One” ala Matrix, di ba?? Pero teka that was when nga ba?? Years ago?? O baka naman talaga you are one of those cursed ones that will spend their lives alone… old maid, spinster kumbaga oh my hindi kakayanin ng powers ko ‘yan!

Minsan naman kung hindi ka ba naman inaasar ng love na yan’ eh di assuming dumating na si “the One” sa buhay mo eh as in smooth sailing na lahat, hmm akala mo lang un’ pero Alas somebody came along na talagang nagpatibok ng matindi sa puso mo. Eh di “its sad to belong to someone else when the right one comes along” ang drama mo eh teka teka paano mo malalaman kung sya na nga ung “right One” this time?

What now foolish heart? Are you just gonna blame it on love? Kung ba’t naman kse ok na eh, masaya ka na ulit despite all those heartaches you went through okay na, tanggap mo na, na talagang ganyan lang ang love na iyan. So you told yourself “time-out muna, pwede ba tantanan muna ako ng pag-ibig na ‘yan” *BOOM* unexpectedly eto ka na naman, pangalan pa lang kinikilig ka na, text message lang feeling mo nanalo ka na sa Miss Universe, eh paano na lang kung makita at makausap mo pa eh di nawindang ka na nang tuluyan… In love ka nga kaya? Are you willing to take the risk again? Or will you start freaking out the way you always do?

Ala Starstruck ang dating, you dream, believe and survive that’s what love is. When you’re not strong enough, you’re out but when you got the will to endure then you’re in. The question is "Is a deal or no deal?"

Carrie: I'd like to think that people have more than one soulmate.
Samantha: I agree! I've had hundreds.
Carrie: Yeah! And you know what, if you miss one, along comes another one. Like cabs.

from SEX AND THE CITY, Unidentified Episode
Do you believe in soul mates?

Well, a lot has been said about it and as a hopeless romantic I used to believe that they were real. But I don't know if I'm just being too cynical or what but lately I'm thinking that I'm probably wrong.

Maybe somehow, I still got that fairy-tale notion that I could have my own happily ever after as soon as I found my prince but I just don't think he'll be coming anytime at all if he ever comes at all or if he ever even exists.

Am I confusing you now? Don't worry, you're not alone... I'm confused myself.

Do soul mates exists? Is there really someone out there just for you? Or is it just a lame illusion that we made up just to console ourselves.

I used to remember one scene from Sex and City when Carrie & Samantha were having a conversation about soul mates and I think they were right maybe we have more than one soul mate, we've got hundreds. Sure, its rather romantic to believe that there's actually one person made especially just for you but call me cynical or bitter but somehow I just don't believe it anymore. I used to be a hopeless romantic, believing in forever, one true love, soulmates and all those mushy stuff but somewhere in between the failed relationships and heartaches I became a cold-hearted person who probably still believes in love but not disillussioned by it anymore.

I admit - It's fun to be single, I love every moment of it but then again, sometimes I kinda miss having someone to text message when I get up and all day long... I miss planning a weekend with someone. I miss having someone who'd listen to my ranting and tantrums when I had a bad day. I miss those "kilig" moments that makes my heart beats faster. And mostly - THE LAST CALL. You know, that phone call you make or made to you just right before you sleep.

There are times that I wonder if I could still find my soul mate, or have I found him already but I just let him slip away or maybe he was the one that got away. I don't know. Cynical as I can be, but the hopeless romantic in me is very much persistent and somehow I still hope that there's actually one person meant especially for me and I'm hoping that my soul will recognize that he is the one and everything will work out well the moment our paths crossed.

I was so busy with a lot of things lately that I forgot to post about the award I received a few weeks ago.

It's from Christy of Writer's Reviews: Writer's Reviews Blogger Awards. Thank you, Christy for this fabulous idea of the blogger awards. A blogger Mark nominated me for the award, I'm anxious to know him and to thank him for the nomination... Thank you, its an honor to be recognized!

Now, its my turn to give another award to five people who has been very thoughtful to me and for constantly reminding me how much I love blogging. I'm giving this badge to this wonderful bloggers...

1st
is for Marie, she has always been a regular visitor of my three blogs and she also share her thoughts by often commenting on my posts.

2nd is Jackie, she maybe a new blogger friend of mine but she never fails to visit my blog and constantly giving her insights in my posts, she also has a very nice blog.. I love reading her entries very insightful.

3rd is Grace, she is like a younger sister to me, she's a regular in my tag boards and never fails to visit all my blogs. We also chat from time to time (sorry I have been very busy to chat lately).

4th is Lutchi, back in my bravejournal days, she has been my constant visitor and always gives her comments on my entries. She is also the one who inspired me to pro-blogging and thanks to her now, I'm earning a few bucks in blogging.

I know I should give away this award to five people but I'm breaking the rules a bit and only giving out four, maybe some other time I'll be giving more awards to those I think is deserving and to those who have inspired me.

Have a happy Monday, everyone!

Steps to take so you can find each other again...
by Jennifer Good

Can the heart ever trust again after it has been crushed? Can a couple look at this time as a way of becoming even closer than they had ever been? Can there be romance after an affair? If both parties concerned are willing to work it out, the answers to these questions are, "Yes!" In an age where the chances of getting a divorce are higher than staying together, the likelihood of infidelity is greater than ever. But why become a statistic, when there is the chance of recovering what once was and possibly finding something even greater? Below are a few steps and ideas to help you make sense of your situation and find your way back to each other.

First Step: Getting The Facts

You will need to share with each other the truth about the events that have happened. Don't go into explicit details; just stick to the general facts. If you do not tell the entire truth to your partner about events surrounding the affair, your chances of repairing your relationship are greatly diminished. This step is very important if for no other reason than it helps you both get everything off your chest. You can finally release all the fear of discovery or other emotions you may be feeling. Sometimes the challenge of trying to tell your partner face-to-face about the events can seem too difficult to confront. If this is the case, try exchanging letters to each other instead. Make sure you set a specific time to exchange the letters, read them and then talk about them directly afterwards.

Second Step: Acknowledging Each Other

By now your emotions are probably at an all-time high. The road of infidelity is not an easy one to cross. If you can recognize, understand and acknowledge what each other is feeling and going through, your path will become a lot easier. Again this step can be done face-to-face, or through a letter exchange. You'll want to make sure you let each other know that, while things are far from perfect, you're both willing and wanting to make this relationship work.

Third Step: Moving On

I think the most important step regarding moving on is to realize that things will never go back to the way they used to be. The reward for moving on is not getting back what once was, but rather finding something even more special and rewarding. Another point to remember is that many couples never find their way through this type of betrayal. It takes a special bond and inner strength as a couple to get through it. Neither person can do it alone. To get yourselves on the right path you will need to make some kind of agreement about your future actions, like a couple's mission statement or doctrine. For instance, on separate sheets of paper for each person write what you will promise to do and not do. Share your papers and add and remove statements as needed. Finally, create one inclusive list of what you both will agree to adhere to.

Fourth Step: Letting Go

It is important to remember that because a partner may have wronged you, they do not owe you anything. Likewise, if you have committed the infidelity, you cannot expect your partner to have instant faith in you. Your faith in each other will have to be earned. Forgiveness and understanding are crucial elements to recovering your faith. Holding onto negative emotions from the past doesn't help safeguard your heart against another possible act of infidelity. In reality, it creates a larger gap in a relationship that at this time more than ever needs unconditional affection and love.

Is it just me or is it really a boring day??

Well, something made my day not-so boring anymore .. the blogfairy left me this message in my inbox:
Congratulations! You have touched people with your writing.
You are a blue-ribbon blogger!
YOUR BADGE:

Thank you, blogfairy! You really made me smile today.

Its a wonderful feeling to know that somebody is actually reading my blog entries. Its disappointing at times when blog hoppers just scan your page and never really bothers to read anymore, that's why we don't get as many comments as we would like to. Okay, enough ranting!

Have a nice day!

This weekend I had a fabulous time with my college friends whom I have not seen for almost seven years. It was endless chatting and reminiscing of the good all days and it was really fun being with them again. We were all so close during our Mapua days and too bad, digicams and hi-tech cellphones are not yet around to capture every fun, the struggles of being an Engineering student, the boys we fell in love with and all the drama and everything in between.

Here we are now...

Life isn't a destination..
It's a journey...
We all come upon unexpected curves and turning points, mountaintops and valleys. Everything happens to us shapes who we are becoming.
In the adventure of each day, we discover the best in ourselves.

Indeed, life is a journey. We are always on the road, running and searching. Each time the sun greets us, we have the opportunity to pause, to see where we have been, to notice how far we have come, and to ponder how the journey has been for us. Every sunrise is always the start of all our beginnings, it is the time to clear our visions and refresh our dreams as we set once more on a journey that is ours.

As I recall many mornings that came my life, I see how differently I have entered each day. Sometimes I greeted the sunrise with deep contentment and peace in my heart, full of gratitude that a new day is about to begin, but most of my mornings I rush into the things that needs to be done. Some mornings when my Lupus illness is very severe, I greeted my mornings with pain and heartaches, with suppressed tears and a heavy burden all over me.

I've walked most of my life with anxiety over struggles and heart filled of worry. My journey so far has been very pleasant. Fair enough, I must say. Whatever happened in my past had all worked together to make me who I am today. Those experiences had made me strong and the lessons I've learned from it will serve as my guide for the future ahead.

But in every walk we make, let's not forget we're not working for vain. In every step we take we're not walking alone. In which way we choose to move ahead there's always a God who had never forsaken us. In every path we travel, God promised that He will never leave us, that He will always love us unconditionally.

So the next time the sun rises upon you, look up, and thank Him for another new day.

Work like you don't need the money; Dance like no one is watching; Sing like no one is listening; Love like you've never been hurt; And live life every day as if it were your last.

I must admit that after having my heart broken for quite a number of times, I became too cynical about love and once I'm in a relationship, I can't seem to keep or stay in love.

What the hell happened to the hopeless romantic I used to know? I just don't think, I am still that person. W
ho am I to blame? Or should I simply just take the risk and open my heart to love again? Am I ready to take the chance and risk with the possibility that I might get hurt once again.

Love like you have never been hurt... I know this quote a long time ago, and I once heard it from a show I've watched on TV and suddenly it gave a whole new meaning to me. I definitely want to love like I've never been hurt, it seems I had forgotten or had chosen to erase in my memory how wonderful love is. I can't seem to remember now the feeling to be loved by someone who loves you too and to share your life with. Once you're in love you can't really define your emotions, you just know that it makes you happy. It's been a long time since I felt this way and sometimes I wish I can truly love again, but I guess it just ain't for me just yet.

Or maybe I'm in love right now, it just saddens me that he might not feel the same way for me or probably I just think that I love him because I long to be in love again.. Confusing and tormenting, but I honestly wish that I could sing my heart out like no one is listening, I can dance like no one is watching, I can work like I don't need the money, love like I have never been hurt and maybe, just maybe my life would find some deeper meaning...

It's been a while since I last went shopping on my own, it's actually the best way to release stress for me. And after toxic week this is just what I needed and it was relaxing to finally have a time for myself. But I did not splurge so much for myself, I bought early gifts for my "inaanaks" (godchildren) who are mostly celebrating their birthdays on the "ber" months. Its always fun to buy gifts for the babies I love.

Now, I'm still here in the mall stranded because of the heavy rains. I found myself in a coffee shop that brought back some nostalgic memories. I had vowed never to return here again but I don't know why my feet brought me here.. This is where "the ex-love of my life" and I often sit together, here in the very same couch I'm in.. this where we used to have funny conversations and just having a nice time together. Now, I'm sitting here again only this time I'm alone. I'm not really that heartbroken anymore but I still can't help feeling a bit lonely. I know someday, I'll be completely fine. When thoughts of him won't bring anymore sadness. Someday, when my heart is ready to really let him go.

It might be raining so hard now but I'm quite certain the rain will eventually stop and the clear skies will come out again and just like my aching heart, eventually it'll stop hurting...

For me there's no better way to relax than to have a good book and coffee

That's why I'm a bit surprised and relieved to find out
that I'm not really that addicted to coffee...

Few of my favorite break-up lines...
Happy TT! :-)

THIRTEEN CLASSIC BREAK-UP LINES

1. "We have to meet other people to see what it's like to be with someone else. I'm giving you that choice. If you come back to me, we'll both be better from having chosen freely."

2.
"We are too different from each other."

3.
"Maybe this is not the right time for us."

4.
"I really think that we should break up." "Why?"
"Because I don't know if I still love you."

5.
"we are not growing anymore."

6.
"I don't have feelings for you anymore."

7.
"I just need space..."

8.
"it was not meant to be ... so honey I am setting you free to look for your destiny"

9.
"our time together was beautiful ... but I realized that there are still things I like to discover so ..."

10.
" I've decided to move on with my life..."

11. "I just don't love you anymore..."

12. "
You deserve someone better. That's not me."

13. And my favorite "It's not you, it's me..."
