It’s almost been a week since I last posted here...

I guess, I’m busy but the truth is I’ve been struggling with my lupus illness again and I am not feeling well.

And since this blog is all about love and letting go, I’m just not in the mood to think about love. Having love thoughts at this point is the last thing I need right now.

How can love be so complicated? It is supposed to be simple and enjoyable but why does it always bring pain and disappointments? Or maybe it’s just me...

It was a stormy weekend and I am very thankful that even though the nearby towns were submerged in flood waters we were spared and we didn't get affected by the strong typhoon.

There's nothing much we can do because there's flood everywhere, so my family and I just bond together and prayed for the people who were at the capsized ship, hoping they could still find more survivors. My heart goes out to them...

On the lighter side, we shared this delicious meal called champorado and it's partner "tuyo" or dried fish. It is a perfect meal for a stormy day...

It’s a stormy day. It’s raining so hard and the winds are so strong, I’m afraid the tree in our front porch will fall down, I hope not I love that tree so much. I’m glad that we are unharmed despite the strong storm that’s hitting us right now. You know, what I love most during rainy days is to eat, it’s time to take our recipe for some good cooking today.

I have a lot of friends but there are only quite a few that I truly consider as my true friends. It has always been said that true friends are hard to find and I think it’s rare. But I have been blessed to have such true friends with me that I consider one of my valuable treasures.

Friendship comes in various places that may sometimes surprise you, I have been blogging for almost four years now and I’ve met bloggers that came and go... but there are quite a few who remains the same and I just want them to know how much I appreciate them a lot.

Bro.Mel, you have inspired and encouraged me in so many ways and for that I thank you so much..
I think it’s also an overdue gratitude for bestowing me this award.I have received it before in my other blog but coming from you, it is very much appreciated.

I had a quiet weekend. We did not celebrate Father’s Day (don’t ask why) but I was able to have a quiet afternoon. After a very long while, I was able to put my running shoes again and ran across this football field and just sweat my heart out.

I’m a big fan of modern technology and one of the most fascinating inventions by far is the micro sd the heart of your mobile phone and digital cameras. This is where you store your files, pictures and even your music and I just think it’s awesome. I have 8gb in my mobile phone and I got a few sd card for my camera as well, it’s a good thing it doesn’t cost that much.

Whenever I travel I always see to it that I travel with basics. I think that makes things simple. Like my mom always say “stick with the classics” and you will never go wrong but the thing is I hate it when you are in the airport waiting for your luggage to arrive, and don’t you just hate it when your suitcase is almost the same like everyone else. That’s why I’d like to go bold and choose vibrant colors for my luggage. I just want to be distinctive and stylish at the same time.

I can’t believe it’s been a week since I last posted here. I just need to attend to a lot of things and I took advantage of my spare time to just relax and chill out. I wish I was on a holiday or a luxury cruise but I wasn’t I just stayed home and rest. I’ve been so sick lately that I decided to take a break and after a week of self isolation, I’m still not feeling one hundred percent alright but I can’t stay away forever. Somehow I’m hoping that my break had done me well.

I would love to go to a holiday and I can’t wait for 2010 where my greatest European Getaway will take place. I’m dying to see Spain and stay in Madrid Hotels and Barcelona Hotels. I would love to explore its cities and be at awe by the breath-taking landmarks like Paseo del Prado, Palacio Real, among others. Our trip also includes Italy and it’ll be a dream come true to stay in Venice Hotels and enjoy the magnificent and romantic view of Florence Hotels. I just can’t wait for our trip and see those wonderful places. I’m quite sure it’ll be one of my most unforgettable experience.

The temperature is rising, it feels like summer all over again. It’s terribly hot and since it’s a holiday we treated our nieces and nephews for a swimming, just their last hurray before school starts tomorrow. I will surely miss those free times with the little ones and I hope even though summer has ended we can still go on a vacation just like in St. Barts villa rentals where paradise surely awaits its visitors.

I often accompany my cousins who visit us from the US to casinos and we’re not really hooked or addicted to gambling but we do enjoy betting a little, for us it’s all about having fun. I also noticed that’s there’s a lot of online casino sites in the internet, although I’ve never really tried it makes you wonder if those online casinos are as fun as the real thing. I’m a bit reluctant to play because I fear that the sites are not safe to divulge personal financial information or I might get so addicted to it and lose money. But if you are going to try to play, make sure you have the will power to know when it’s just for fun or if it’s becoming an addiction already.

Finally, I finished updating my blogroll. I also got to visit some of them. I'm sorry to say that I deleted some of the links that have not visited my blog for quite sometime now. Well, it's time for new people to come in and forget the ones who doesn't even bother to say hello.

I am so looking forward for this long weekend, my huling hirit for the summer and a great chance for me to rest after a week of battling with my sickness.

I’m almost done with my new template.

Since I’m using Firefox, so I have no idea how my site looks like at IE and thanks to Roxy for bringing to my attention that my page was distorted at her end. I hate to take off my imeem but it’s making an error at IE, I guess I’ll just work on it later.

Now, all I have to do is to add my new blogroll.
Hopefully, I can finish it over the weekend.

I’m a music lover and I’ve been singing most of my life. I listen to all kinds of music but I have to admit that I don’t really enjoy rap, metal and hip-hop music. I guess, I’m getting old and I can’t really appreciate that type of music.
