It's rather difficult to maintain a lot of blogs and I have to admit I've been neglecting this blog. Since my two domain sites are currently down...

Dancing With Butterflies - experienced an error while upgrading to Wordpress 2.7 and I'm still finding a way to fix it

Blessed Chic - I just transferred to another web host and this site will be up again very soon

I'm taking this chance to update my other blogs. I've been very lazy to blog the past few weeks and blame it on the holidays and the very long vacation but I really enjoyed my time away from the internet and the computer. I've been very sick too and I'm trying to contemplate my condition and I hate to burst it out in my blog, I just feel there's so much sadness and confusion in my thoughts that I need to deal on my own. Hopefully, I can find the joy to blog again and on that note I'm updating my links again and deleting my blogs from my blogroll that doesn't link back to me, it's a new year and I guess it's about time to forget some old acquaintance and meet some new ones...

Your Blog is Dead!

Okay, I’m exaggerating a bit...

It’s been so long since I last posted here and I’ve been neglecting this blog, now I have to face the consequence of having a pagerank 0 here. It’s sad but I guess, that’s just how blogging is all about. You win some and you lose some, hopefully I’ll manage to get my pagerank back.

Finally, I finished updating my blogroll. I also got to visit some of them. I'm sorry to say that I deleted some of the links that have not visited my blog for quite sometime now. Well, it's time for new people to come in and forget the ones who doesn't even bother to say hello.

I am so looking forward for this long weekend, my huling hirit for the summer and a great chance for me to rest after a week of battling with my sickness.

Have a great weekend!

I’m almost done with my new template.

Since I’m using Firefox, so I have no idea how my site looks like at IE and thanks to Roxy for bringing to my attention that my page was distorted at her end. I hate to take off my imeem but it’s making an error at IE, I guess I’ll just work on it later.

Now, all I have to do is to add my new blogroll.
Hopefully, I can finish it over the weekend.

A message for my blogger friends:

If you notice I changed my template over the weekend, thanks to Vanessa of PaperBack Designs. I love my new template, it’s more personal and more of who I am. I hope you’ll like it as much as I do.

I’m not done updating though. I still need to revise my blogroll and like I said previously, I am deleting everyone who has not visited my blog for the past three months. I don’t know if I’m being rude but I’m tired of people just asking for a link back and once you do, you’ll never get to see them again and what’s worse you find out later that he/she has deleted your blog mistakenly or deliberately, I’m not sure.

Just bear with me and I’ll make sure to visit your blog very soon!

Good night!

I'm currently updating my site. I'm deleting my current blogroll and removing the people who have not visited me for the past three months. If you think your link was mistakenly removed feel free to get my attention.

By the way how do you like my new template?

There’s something new in blogging world, Social Spark is now LIVE and just waiting to be discovered. And I am so glad I was able to come across it and experience how exciting it is. I was hesitant to join Social Spark at first because I didn’t really know what to expect or if I’ll be able to catch up on it. I’m not really very enthusiastic in blogging these days let alone earning from it but last night while I was trying to redo my domain blog, I received an email from IZEA announcing the launch of its newest baby SocialSpark and I just can’t help myself but register and try it out. I created my very own profile, Quickmelt. I still have to add my blogs and keep on adding to my profile and I’m starting to get the hang of it and it’s exciting. I hope I can snag out more opportunities and somehow meet some new bloggers too. I do need some spark in my blogging world, I’m feeling a bit burn out and exhausted. Sometimes it gets tiring to do things over and over again. I am glad that I discovered this whole new community that will somehow give me some new enthusiasm to blog again. So what are you waiting for, join us!

I love blogging. Although there are times that I feel exhausted by it or I’m simply not in the mood to blog about anything, I still love blogging. I can give you a lot of reasons why I am hooked in blogging and one of them is meeting and discovering some interesting people around the internet whom you have never met yet somehow with their blogs you can interact with them, get to know them by reading their posts and it is always wonderful to read about the inner thoughts of other people. There are times in our lives that we get too emotional with a lot of stuff and we tend to feel we are all alone in our struggles but reading other blogs makes you realize you are not alone in this world. I particularly like to read about mom’s blog, I am not yet a mom but reading about the fun experiences of being a mom just makes me want to be a mom someday. I had a good read about it today yummy baby, stop by her sometime and read about a 10month-old thoughts along with her Mamee.

I was sort of feeling sad to see that my technorati score is declining in almost all of my blogs and I can’t seem to understand it since I am receiving high traffic and I’ve been linked to with other blogs. I’m not sure what’s happening but I try not to be bothered about it, as long as I still have my pagerank I wouldn’t worry that much. Sometimes I want to ask if ranking and stats are really important in a blog, personally if I’m not monetizing my blog maybe I wouldn’t care much but I do care about the quality of blog I am contributing to cyberspace, I don’t want to be a clutter and I want my readers to like what they read and somehow learn from it. I know I may not be blogging with all my heart most of the time but mostly this is all me, my thoughts, my feelings and everything in between. I just want to feel special and not some just insignificant blogger. Am I alone with these thoughts or do you share my sentiments?

How many times have you seen this in your shoutbox?

Well, I’ve lost count and to tell you honestly at first you need a lot of back links to get high ranking from Google and Technorati. But I’ve learned recently that you should be careful who links to your blog because they might just drag you down. Dead links, not updated blogs/sites, and those who are present in your site but your link is not in their site. Well, I’m not an SEO expert so don’t take my word on it. I’m just updating my links and removing those links who are not linking back to me, it’s annoying to find out that you have been removed by someone else either involuntary or voluntary, it doesn’t matter it’s still annoying. I’m not too keen anymore in linking, since I want quality links in my blog. So if you have not visited my blog in a couple of weeks or even months then I’m quite sure I’ll be removing you. I want to know my blogger links that’s why I try to drop by them at least once in a while.

Hmmn, now I realize how PageRank can affect a pro-bloggers life. I’ve snagged a lot of OPP today for my PR 2 blogs not just in PPP but to other paid blogging sites. I also have all my four post for PPP auto-approved and I have been paid $15 for a referral, isn’t this a good day? I am thrilled and if this good fortune continues then maybe I can save up for a... (I’ll keep it a secret for awhile, I don’t want to count the chicks before the eggs hatched) This day is truly a good day for me. I hope you’re all having a good one too.

Good news for pro-bloggers...

PayPal launches local bank withdrawal in the Philippines. I have been waiting for this for a long time and finally here it is. I can now withdraw my PayPal funds directly in my local bank account and the best part is if you withdraw Php 7,000 or more it is FREE of charge and only a minimal fee of Php 50 when you withdraw lower than 7k. It is much better than transferring my PayPal funds to Union Bank’s Eon card because it charges $5 for every transaction. But I guess using eon has some benefits too like you don’t need a maintaining balance to keep it going and it only process 2-3 days. And if you don’t have a Visa credit card, you can use your Eon debit card to verify your account with PayPal. Now, if only I can have more time to post link assignments.

I am raving all of my post at PPP are automatically approved and I have no idea why, I just keep on receiving this email as soon as I posted my task assignment.
Congratulations!! Your PayPerPost post, Protect Your Home, has been automatically approved based on your high quality performance as a PPP Postie!

Congrats again on being an outstanding PPP Postie!! And watch for more auto approvals!!

Thank you,
The PayPerPost Team

This is really uplifting for me and everyday, I am getting funds at Paypal. It's really exciting and maybe in just a month I can already buy that new laptop that I've been saving for, purely from my pro-blogging money. I simply love it! It started when I clicked this at one of my blogger friends blog and decided to sign up. If you're not yet into pro-blogging, why don't you give it a try, you got nothing to lose anyway, just more to gain. C'mon give it a try!

I had a nice day.

Yesterday, I've been ranting about how I was not able to sleep for a couple of days and I have been really stressed out. But last night, I was able to have a good night sleep and today, I tried to stay away from my PC the whole day and cooked lunch for my family...

Want to have Kare-Kare?

My brother loved this so much and he complimented on my cooking. Later in the afternoon, I attended one of my godchildren first birthday. It was fun seeing some old friends and I think I have lost my voice for singing my heart out with my cousin's new magic sing. And tonight, as I was checking my email I got a lot of OPP's approved and more funds at PayPal. I have received an email too from PPP that my post has been auto-approved because of my high quality performance as a PPP postie and they even congratulated me for being an outstanding PPP postie. I feel happy and all my hard work are starting to pay off. Good evening everyone!

I guess its pretty obvious that I love blogging, it has been my way of life right now and I got three blogs to prove that. It's really addicting and since I express my feelings more into writing I have learned a lot about myself since I started to blog four years ago. When I started to notice that a lot of my blogger friends are using their blog for money, I didn't really want to join the circle because I thought who would actually pay me to blog but after a while I was encouraged to give it a try and when my first money from blogging arrived, I just can't explain the feeling.

There's a lot out of sites out there that gives an opportunity for bloggers like us to get paid to blog and let me introduce Smorty to you. What's nice about Smorty is that you can add all your blogs simultaneously, there's absolutely no limit to how many blogs you would like to add and its so easy to use. You have the final say to which task you'll be willing to take and once you accepted the task, you are given three days to complete it... how sweet is that! The entries you submit are being reviewed quickly and it's so easy to be approved. You are also paid every week through Paypal, that's really nice! So what are you waiting for try Smorty now and be one of us.
