I'm currently updating my site. I'm deleting my current blogroll and removing the people who have not visited me for the past three months. If you think your link was mistakenly removed feel free to get my attention.

By the way how do you like my new template?

In just a few weeks I’m celebrating the first anniversary of this blog. I first created this blog last year when I was so heartbroken from the love that I lost. I just want a place to vent my thoughts about love and my experiences about heartaches and letting go. A year after, I’m not really that broken hearted anymore and I think I have truly moved on. There’s going to be changes that are going to take place in the coming days and I may not be a big fan of change but I think it’s just time and I’m willing to embrace it.

We renovated our house a few weeks ago, since we moved here five years ago it’s about time to have some changes and repair some parts of the house. I feel great about the renovation, it’s refreshing. I remembered the time we moved here and our house was filled with moving boxes and we have no idea where our stuff was. It was complete chaos but after a few days we got everything in its proper place and we got settled immediately.

Father’s Day is fast approaching and I still have no idea what to give my dad. I have to admit that I’m not as close with my father as I am with my mom this is probably because he’s been working abroad since I was a child and we didn’t have a chance to really know each other. But I think it’s not yet too late for both of us, he’s planning to retire this year and I think Hublot watches are the best gift that I could give him since it describes a lot of my father’s personality.

My weekend was spent with my family. I just love weekends where you could just chill out with the people you love and introducing the current love of my life...

My nephew Vio, he's just so adorable and cuddly.

I had a great weekend, how about yours?

I’m so eager to watch Sex and the City tomorrow, my friend got us red carpet premiere tickets tomorrow and I’m so excited. I think it’s the ultimate chick movie, I can’t wait to see the bags, shoes and the clothes their going to wear, I think it’ll be absolutely fabulous. I don’t get to see much movie these days, I just don’t have the time anymore and I usually just watch movies on DVD at home and if only I got some popcorn machines at home then my viewing pleasure will be complete. I’m still undecided on what I’m going to wear for the premiere tomorrow.

If you notice I have a new sound.

David Cook’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”...

Well, I think it’s quite obvious that I’m really hooked with DC. I’ve got all his songs and performances in my iPod and I simply can’t get enough of him. My favorite among his performances was “Dare You To Move” but I chose “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” for the sole reason it’s the music of my heart for so long, that after all this time I still haven’t found what I was looking for... until recently!!!

I was at the bank a while ago and surprisingly I didn’t have to wait long in line. I had to update my accounts and have to pay my checks. I also need to accompany my grandmother to inquire about her gold coin investment. My grandmother has various coin collection, she started collected these precious coins as far as the World War II and her collection was just displayed in our ancestral home. We have to convince our grandma to put the gold coins into good use and make profit out of it. Well, gold coins are really excellent investment especially today when everything else is losing its value, I think gold will remain as precious as it is.

David Cook - The Time Of My Life [Winning Song] -

I’ve been waiting for my dreams
To turn into something
I could believe in
And looking for that
Magic rainbow
On the horizon
I couldn’t see it
Until I let go
Gave into love and watched all the bitterness burn
Now I’m coming alive
Body and soul
And feelin’ my world start to turn

And I’ll taste every moment
And live it out loud
I know this is the time,
This is the time
To be more than a name
Or a face in the crowd
I know this is the time
This is the time of my life
Time of my life

Holding onto things that vanished
Into the air
Left me in pieces
But now I’m rising from the ashes
Finding my wings
And all that I needed
Was there all along
Within my reach
As close as the beat of my heart

So I’ll taste every moment
And live it out loud
I know this is the time,
This is the time to be
More than a name
Or a face in the crowd
I know this is the time
This is the time of my life
Time of my life

And I’m out on the edge of forever
Ready to run
I’m keeping my feet on the ground
My arms open wide
My face to the sun

I’ll taste every moment
And live it out loud
I know this is the time,
This is the time to be
More than a name
Or a face in the crowd
I know this is the time
This is the time of my life
Time of my life
More than a name
Or a face in the crowd
This is the time
This is the time of my life.
This is the time of my life.

I don’t usually wear a watch that probably explains why I’m always late. Kidding aside, I don’t really like to wear a watch because my skin is hypersensitive and I always get a rash everytime I wear one. But just recently I discovered that I am not allergic to watches anymore and I can wear it for a whole day and it does not give me a rash. That’s when I started collecting watches and I don’t particularly wear all of them regularly but I just like to collect them. I’ve got favorites too and this is my everyday watch, a white gold with opal stones with butterflies especially made for me. It was a gift from a dear friend who works in a watch company in Switzerland and she custom made that watch for me last year. It really made me feel so special and I just love that watch so much.

I have several watches that I love as well and I’m not particular with the brand but with the quality, design and overall performance of the watch. I usually like watches that are simple yet oozing with elegance, just like raymond weil watches they’re design is just beautiful and equipped with the latest technology.

Now, that I wear a watch, you probably think I’m already always on time nah I’m still always late why?? Because I hate waiting and most of my friends are always late so I always arrive late than usual to avoid waiting.

I’m hooked with David Cook. I’ve watched the rerun of American Idol for the nth time and I just can’t get enough of David Cook. Goodness, I can’t remember the time I felt this way for a celebrity. I feel like a teen-ager once again for having this huge crush on David Cook. Arggh, I’m too old for this but what the heck I just love him!

Straight from my

No matter how well your relationship seems to be going, there are always threats circling: financial stresses that send your harmony off-key. Divergent interests and priorities that make together-time hard to schedule. But perhaps the most potent threat comes in the form of the enemy invader -- the man or woman who has the power to lure your partner into the tempting and dangerous world of infidelity. And even if your partner is a man or woman of unyielding loyalty, your own jealousy-justified or not-can create a relationship hazard. So, is your jealousy justified? Let's take a look at the prime suspects, and see if we can't figure out what they've been up to.

The Co-Worker
In most work settings, your partner has maybe hundreds, probably dozens, or at least a few opportunities to develop good relationships with people who could be potential lovers. In most cases, those relationships are more innocent than baby lambs. Still, the average office has high potential for trouble, because it's where your partner will meet people who think alike, who battle crises side-by-side, who work in close quarters, and who have the opportunity to really get to know (and admire) each other. While it's crazy to obsess over every person your partner works with, chances are that if you have a gut feeling about a lurking somebody, there may be something to it.

Potential Threat Level: 4 stars (out of a possible 5)

The Drunk Stranger
It's the scenario we all fear. Our partner goes out, hangs with friends, flirts with fellow drunks, makes a bad decision, and wakes up with their underwear hanging from some stranger's chandelier. While the scenario lends itself easily to our imaginations, the truth is that the drunk-stranger scenario isn't as much of a threat as we make it out to be. Why? Even drunk, most of us can be savvy enough to know that the momentary adrenaline that may come from said hookup isn't worth the long-term damage that comes later. The exception: If your partner shows a propensity to make bad, dangerous decisions when drinking. In which case, they have to change, or go.

Potential Threat Level: 1 star (unless...)

The Ex
Tough one. Some of us want nothing more to do with our exes once we break up. And some of us keep have our exes as our desktop background for years after the split. Since we're very sensitive about the status of the ex (according to national surveys I did for Men, Love & Sex, 20 percent of us think that searching the Internet for an ex is cheating, for example), we all know the stakes. We know that our current partner used to find something attractive about the ex-so we're vulnerable to feeling as if we'll never live up to that prior history. While hooking back up with an ex is tempting, most of remember exactly why we broke up in the first place. Novelty is the greatest temptation toward cheating, and that's one thing an old flame can't offer: the lure of something new.

Potential Threat Level: 2 stars

The Opposite-Sex Friend

Drives you crazy, eh? He meets her for coffee every week. She IMs an old college buddy a few times a month. The opposite-sex friend lurks like a hungry wolf, ready to pounce at the next opportunity. While I'm convinced that men and women can both be very good at drawing the line between friendship and romance, the truth is that it's pretty darn easy for a long-lasting friendship to turn into a secretly burning romance. In the aforementioned surveys, one-fifth of men say they secretly love their platonic friend, with many more secretly lusting after them. That doesn't mean that your partner can't have opposite-sex friends, but it does mean that as the friendship grows, so do the odds of trouble.
Potential Threat Level: 5 stars That's my inventory of lurking love threats. Now it's your turn to share yours-either merging traffic that knocked your main love interest off the road, or exit ramps you've taken, or were tempted to take, for roadside attractions. Do tell... The harder part, here, is deciding what to do about this phenomenon, whether you're tempter or temptee. My advice is to shine a big light on the situation. Mystery is the shawdowy zone where suspicions take root. So if your partner tends to worry about interoffice correspondence springing up, invite him out for after-work drinks with the gang, or to the company picnic this summer. Familiarity, in this case, breeds understanding and defuses suspicions. And if you're thinking about an extracurricular dalliance, take a step back. The only thing that works is to stick to the one-serious-relationship-at-a-time rule. If you're not satisfied with the primary relationship, either fix it or end it. Then when Paula from accounting or Peter from HR starts hanging around your desk, you'll reject the offer with good reason, or head off into the supply closet with nary a care in the world (unless, of course, there are security cameras and company rules about this sort of stuff).

I love to travel and I always want to see the world. Well, it may sound impossible but I can at least try to travel to places that I really want to see. Traveling gives me a sense of fulfillment and I always love to discover new things and meet new people along the way. In a few weeks my family and I will have an interview for our US Visa application, no we’re not migrating, we just applied for tourist visa and most of our relatives from the US are really hoping that the embassy will grant us the visa so that we could visit all of them. Most of my relatives reside in California, that’s why I don’t need to find any cheap San Francisco Hotels and cheap Los Angeles Hotels when I finally grace Hollywood.

I’m terribly excited and I have a good feeling that our visa application will be approved and if that happens we’ll be flying to the US this year. My bestfriend from Toronto said that we could meet at NY and maybe stay in cheap New York City Hotels. I don’t mind if our accommodation is not first class, we won’t be staying there much anyway. As long as it provides all the necessity I need and it fit right into my budget then it’s alright. My mom also plans to visit her long-time friend in Miami and I think we need to arrange accommodation at cheap Miami hotels because I don’t feel comfortable staying with her friend and her family because we don’t really know who they are. Hopefully all our plans will come true and I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Today is the last day of our renovation and I am excited to see our newly furnished house. I think the color I chose for the living room was so light and relaxing, it’s exactly what I want so that my family and I could have a chance to chill out after a whole day of work. The Hinkley lighting is also very inviting, it adds up to the mood and it’s very soothing.

I smiled a little when I got the result after doing this quiz. Well, it's a good thing I don't need a man in my life but I have to admit it's true I definitely want one. =)

You Don't Need a Man, but You Want One!

You like having a guy in your life, and overall, you prefer not to be single.

You won't go out with a guy out of desperation.. you rather be alone.

However, when you're single, you do tend to obsess a little over dating.

Because no matter how good your single life is, it's better with a great guy around.

Do You Need a Man?

My previous entry about someone stealing my love article was someone who asked for exchange link with me and when I checked out her blog and read some of her entries I read something very familiar. The title has been change, some of the words were rephrased but still the story is very much close to my heart. I wrote that article way back in 2003, even before I started blogging and I first posted in an online forum I used to be active with. I don’t mind if someone else would re-post my articles but I would appreciate it a lot if they could somewhat be gracious enough to acknowledge me or just admit that it was copied from someone else’s blog. We should always give credit to where it is due. I really hope that plagiarism among blog can have some penalty because it’s really wrong. Imagine your creative work being stolen, now, imagine your identity being taken away from you. The internet maybe a great place to be but it is not safe. You can have your whole identity be stolen. That’s why you need lifelock for your own security and protection. I’ve read some lifelock reviews and I am persuaded to get one for myself. Why don’t you give it a try too and read lifelock review to be educated on how you can protect yourself from identity theft.

I’m waiting for my teen-age niece. We’re off to the mall to for a little shopping, she’s celebrating her fourteenth birthday on Saturday and we’re going to buy her outfit for her party. I also have an appointment to my dermatologist for my regular facial treatment and I’m also going to consult my dermatologist about what acne treatment is suitable for my niece. I know it’s normal for teen-agers to have acne but still we need to prevent it so that she could maintain her good skin even if she gets older.

I was in the middle of my deadline and I was so stressed out. I’m not feeling well for several days now and I’ve been catching up with work. I know I need to rest and take it slow but there’s just so many things that I need to do and I hate it when my lupus forces me to drop everything, I am once again faced with the reality that I am sick and no matter how I try to put some normality in my life this chronic disease finds its way to hurt me and it sucks big time! I need some normality in my life, for weeks now I’ve been feeling really low and unhappy and I’m not even sure why.

I put my private number in the No Call List. I am just terribly annoyed by those prank callers who have nothing good to say and those telemarketers who are trying to convince me to buy or apply for loans, etc. I think it’s a waste of time with those people. As much as I want to add my number at the Reverse Phone Lookups, I’m not sure I’m willing to pay for it.

Maybe you notice that I’m not posting much in this blog well I’m just not in the mood for blogging just yet.

I’ll be celebrating the first year anniversary of this blog next month and I first created this blog because I was harboring a broken heart and writing in this blog helped me overcome that broken heart.

I love writing so much and whenever I write something about love, I pour my heart content on it that is why I was dismayed to read my exact entry to someone else’s blog, this time the title was modified and some of my words were rephrased and I informed the blogger that she posted one of my entry in my archive and even provided a link for it but she just ignored it. I reported it to blogger but I’m not sure they can do anything about it. This is not the first time that I became a victim of plagiarism and it just makes me want to stop posting my love entries anymore. It’s just disappointing.

Last Sunday was Mother’s day and I wasn’t able to greet my blogger mom friends because I wasn’t able to get online. We spent the day with my mom and some of my loved-ones to celebrate the christening of my nephew as well. It was a special day and we made sure my mom was aware how much we appreciated her. Father’s day comes next and I’m wondering what I would give him, I think he might want gold cufflinks for his special day.

Thirteen Simple Ways of Reducing Stress

I've been awfully stressed out the past few weeks and maybe some of you are suffering from it as well, here are some simple ways of somehow easing the stress level in our lives.

1. If possible go to bed on time and get enough sleep.

2. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

3. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.

4. Simplify and unclutter your life.

5. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)

6. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.

7. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.

8. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.

9. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.

10. Write down thoughts and inspirations.

11. Everyday find some time alone and develop a quiet time with God.

12. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.

13. Laugh and laugh some more.

I can’t help but rave about finally getting in shape. I just found out this evening that I lost six pounds in just over ten days and I’m down an inch in my waist. Being on the chubby side for most of my life especially when I got sick and had to take steroid, weight has always been a sensitive issue for me but I’m really determined to lose weight despite being on medication, I just want to be able to look in the mirror and like what I see. I was even tempted to use some weight loss pills but I decided to do it naturally and stick to healthy diet and exercise.

Now, be the judge... this photo was taken last year almost at the same time

and this photo was taken last Sunday during my nephew’s Christening.

Maybe you noticed that I’m not very active in blogging these days, I’m just not in the mood and I had to keep up with my work. Since I’ve been taking a lot of out of town trips, my workload is piling up and it’s time to focus and beat the deadline. It’s really been toxic but I’m not complaining I love my work and I maybe missing in action in the blogging world but I’ve been busy with my social life. It’s been so long since I feel great about myself and I’m glad I’ve been losing weight naturally without taking any diet pills. Since I’ve been under steroid medication for almost seven years now, this is the only time that I don’t feel fat and bloated.

Summer is the lean season for my printing business. Since school is out, the students are nowhere near my shop which is near the school district. That’s okay because I am certain that once the school opens this June everything will be back to normal but till then I have to cut down on my shop’s expenses and determine my loses, so I can recover them as soon as school starts. I also need to have a new promotion and marketing scheme to attract more clients. This summer I gave a discounted price for photo developing and scrapbooking designs which was good because it somehow carried me throughout the lean months. I was a bit worried before that I need to get personal loan just to help me with the payables. I don’t want to ask my parents for any support that is why I thought of getting a loan instead. I don’t really like getting loans, I always thought that it will only add to my financial burden because of the hidden fees and interests. I also thought acquiring a loan needs a lot of work and it’s too much hassle on my part because it’s time consuming but now as an entrepreneur I can understand that loans are pretty much a part of the whole business arena.

My college friends and I are already saving for our European Tour set on 2010 and we are already saving for our ultimate travel adventure. I am so excited to plan that trip that I consider an enchanting dream, I’ve always wanted to set foot on Paris, I think it’s the most romantic city in the world and my best friend sent me this picture as she and her French hubby shared a kiss at the Eiffel Tower during their honeymoon.

I would also like to ride a gondola in Venice and explore the ancient city of Rome. I can’t wait for that ultimate dream to take place.

I know that trip could be expensive that is why my friends and I are already saving for it and we even have a European fund for our dream travel and we are already browsing the internet for some affordable accommodations that we can find that will fit right to our budget. It’s a good thing we found this website cheaperthanhotels.co.uk it offers a wide variety of cheap accommodations if you are looking for Paris Hotels, Venice Hotels, Amsterdam Hotels and even Hotels Rome. They can provide you best accommodation in France and can make your trip absolutely wonderful.

I’m going to a wedding later today. It’s just a simple ceremony and a small gathering but the mere fact that I am again going to another wedding just drives me nuts. I’m not really irritated that I am going to another wedding, in fact I love weddings. It’s absolutely wonderful to see two people get united and vow to cherish each other for the rest of their lives. I guess, the hopeless romantic in me still exist somewhere. I maybe cynical about love but I still believe in love and the whole idea of finding someone to share your life with. I know, I’m no way near in finding that someone yet but I’m hoping that one day I could.

My friends say that I need some variety in my life, I need to truly let go of that person I have been waiting for so long. I need to go out there again and start to meet new people and date. I’m not really in the mood to go dating but I think I would like to try my chances with some Free Dating Online it could be fun and exciting and I don’t really rely on it much to meet my knight and shining armor but at least I could meet someone new and somehow give some new thrill in my boring love life.

I’m a certified handbag addict and I so love bags. I have a lot of bags in my possession that I haven’t used but I still have them in my closet and I treasure them a lot. I consider my handbags one of my valuable treasures and I tried to control myself for purchasing more bags but I just can’t help myself.

Today, I’m highlighting one of my favorite handbags from XOXO, that I bought at eBay. It’s absolutely gorgeous, don’t you think?

There’s something new in blogging world, Social Spark is now LIVE and just waiting to be discovered. And I am so glad I was able to come across it and experience how exciting it is. I was hesitant to join Social Spark at first because I didn’t really know what to expect or if I’ll be able to catch up on it. I’m not really very enthusiastic in blogging these days let alone earning from it but last night while I was trying to redo my domain blog, I received an email from IZEA announcing the launch of its newest baby SocialSpark and I just can’t help myself but register and try it out. I created my very own profile, Quickmelt. I still have to add my blogs and keep on adding to my profile and I’m starting to get the hang of it and it’s exciting. I hope I can snag out more opportunities and somehow meet some new bloggers too. I do need some spark in my blogging world, I’m feeling a bit burn out and exhausted. Sometimes it gets tiring to do things over and over again. I am glad that I discovered this whole new community that will somehow give me some new enthusiasm to blog again. So what are you waiting for, join us!

I’m off to the hospital today to see my rheumatologist, I’m not really that sick but I am not feeling well. I know there’s something wrong with me and I need to do something to prevent depression to sink in. I’m not sure why I’m feeling this way, I have everything I need to be happy but I’m not and I’ve done almost everything I can to feel better but I’m still feeling so sad and blue.

Maybe I’m just not in the mood for blogging and I need to runaway with my thoughts in private for awhile. Sometimes I wish I could let time stand still and just sit along the swing and watch as the sunset peeks in.

I love going to trade show exhibits, I like the variety and the uniqueness it offers. Exhibits often offer a wide selection of premium rare items that you cannot usually find and for someone who has exquisite taste, you should always try to seek something new in exhibit shows. Just like the distinctive table covers I discovered from Camelback Displays. They customize your printed table covers, you can choose to add a logo of your business name for added promotion and effective marketing, and you can choose to add a personalized message or simply add your personal touch of your favorite color.

The table top display is great for your business promotion during trade shows or special events. Their exhibits are convenient and it comes in various designs, colors and sizes. Camelback Displays has friendly staff that can assist you in all your needs and it’s guaranteed to have a fast and reliable service. So what are you waiting for give your campaign a boost and find something at Camelback Displays.

I’m back from my trip from Bicol and I’m still so tired from the trip but it was all worth it. I badly needed that break. It was nice to be in a new surrounding and I was able to meet a few nice people during that long weekend. This morning I am once again at work, faced with the same problems and boredom but I’m not complaining, I am blessed to have this job. What annoys me is the problem I encountered with my domain blog when I upgraded my wordpress installation, now I have to redo everything and I’m thinking of a total site revamp, I’m also thinking of adding some flash components like gridNavigation, photoFlow and slide menus. Flash components adds beauty to any site, I just need to figure out how to do it and time to actually work on it.
