Keeping the Friendship

The other day, I stayed at the hotel room with my friend from Canada. We have not seen each other in years and we really need to update ourselves with what’s going on with our lives. We spend the whole day laughing, reminiscing the good old days and it was really fun. I was truly impressed with the tv lifts she has in her room, with just a touch of a button a sleek plasma TV appears and disappears swiftly at the foot of her bed. We both agreed we’d love that for ourselves. It was a fine day to be with a good friend and it’s just sad that she has to leave right away but we both know that even distance can’t keep us from being close.

Love Moves in Myterious Ways

“How sweet it is to be loved by you” I’ve been hearing this song in my head over and over again and I just can’t stop smiling. Is it a wonder how love can turn your world around?

I have always been a hopeless romantic but after a series of broken heart and broken dreams, I became cynical about love and probably bitter about being romantic. For sometime, I tried to keep my distance towards love and have tried everything to stay away from it. I just feel that with everything that’s going on with my life, the last thing I need is to complicate it with love. But love truly moves in mysterious ways and you can’t hide from love forever because once it finds you, there’s nothing else you can do but surrender to it.

My friends and I were talking about getting back on your feet and surviving after a break up and I really don’t have a clever advice on it but somehow you’ll just get through it and learn to cope up, eventually. Love is something I can never really comprehend but all I know is that it makes you feel good about yourself and happy, it can make you do the unexpected like write a romantic note for the one you love or simply make you feel alive with just a bouquet of roses. Love is indeed mysterious and I really need to get in touch with my hopeless romantic nature again and start embracing love again, with the help of eHarmony
I will surely get romantic ideas to be able to experience the beauty of love once again.

Military Stand-off??

It's a rainy day once again but don't worry I am not gloomy at all. I am actually looking forward for a date tonight... yeah, you read it right, I am back in the dating game. My best friend after being so persuasive as she is fixed me up with her hubby's high school friend and tonight, I'll be meeting him for a date. I am a bit nervous, I've never done this in quite awhile and I have no idea on what's gonna happen. But what the heck, I worry too much...

I think something's going on here in Makati, they say there's another military stand off and soldiers and some civilians are marching along Ayala calling for GMA to step down (gudluck na lang sa inyo, kapit tuko 'yan kaya malamang hindi baba yan'). Well, I'm not sure really of what's going on but just to be safe I'll be having lunch here in the office and won't leave until my date arrives early tonight.

Have a wonderful rainy day and it's gonna be another long weekend for us here in the Philippines ^-^

Beauty in All Shapes


I have been taking steroids for the past six years and it is the reason why I have gained so much weight. There was a time that I hate looking at myself in the mirror because I feel so ugly because of all those fat and I hate shopping for clothes because nothing seems to fit me. For a time, it really caused depression on my part and I even result into taking diet pills just to lose some weight. But later on I have learned to accept that beauty comes in all sizes and I don’t have to feel bad because I am fat, slowly I am learning to deal with it.

Beautiful Mornings

I was having a hard time getting up this morning, the cold weather makes me want to sleep more and just stay home. I love mornings like this and it reminds me even more that Christmas is fast approaching and it’s time to finish my gift list before it’s too jammed in the malls. Lately, I have found joy in shopping online, I think it’s a new hobby that I really find exciting but I also need to take extra precaution because I may end up paying more than I should, that is why it is important to use promo codes to save a little in my shopping. I really love shopping for books at Amazon and I saved a great deal using my Amazon coupons. I can find rare titles there that I can’t find in my local bookstore and I’m sure my brother would love his Adidas coupons that will give him fabulous discounts in his sports apparel.

Storm is Over



The sun is brightly shining today and after a series of bad mood I am starting to feel good now. Well, I cannot say that I am happy now but I just have a feeling that today will be a better day.

I woke up early today and walk along with my dog, I don't do that often since I am not an early riser but I just feel I need a moment to greet the sunrise and pray. I badly need God's presence in my life right now and as I stopped at the playground, I took the chance to get on the swing and just sway. It is supposed to be a rainy day today but as I was looking up, I saw the sun just beneath these trees and I am glad that slowly, the storm is over.

Meaningful Internet

I always consider it a blessing that I already finished college before I got sick, I just don’t know if I can be able to finish school when most of the time I was at the hospital and I was at a wheel chair for almost six months. It was during this time that I got hooked with the internet, since I have nowhere else to go and I don’t want to see my friends then, my PC became my only friend. At first, I was active with an online forum where I posted most of my love articles, poems, etc… but I eventually grew tired of it and chatting seems senseless to me already. It felt like I am wasting my time and I needed something worthwhile to do with my internet connection. And then a friend introduced me into an online university where I can enroll and finish my Masters Degree completely online. I did try it out and it was fun, after two years I finished my graduate studies and earned my Masteral Degree, it was an accomplishment on my part. I am thankful that education evolved in our time, you can now just sit back and earn a degree through the internet with all the online universities out there like the capella university where you can earn a degree completely online. Want to do something worthwhile with your time? Why not study online and use that education meaningfully.

Real Estate

My best friend who is based in Canada is in town for a visit and she expresses her desire to invest here in the Philippines, she likes to venture into real estate and buy some land where she can eventually sell in a higher value in the future. I think it’s a good thing, my family invested on real estate too and now, we are reaping from it. She’s leaving in a few days and we have a schedule on a broker tomorrow for possible acquiring of properties.

Laptop For Me

I used to be an impulsive buyer but after a while I have learned to be an intelligent shopper. I am a shopaholic, it’s an addiction that I always find relaxing and enjoyable. I have set a goal, that if ever I earn through blogging I would buy myself a new laptop as a Christmas gift for myself. For weeks now, I was browsing to buy a new laptop and after thorough searching and haggling I found what I like, what I need and what I can afford and in just a matter of one week my new laptop will be delivered to me. I have reached my first goal and I am so happy.

Deciding to buy a laptop is tough, you must search for the ones that you really need and the specs do matter. You need to be wise too, spend only what you can afford and a cheap laptop does not mean you’ll suffer from the specs. Find something that offers a good price, discounts and a store that you can really save a lot. Just be a wise spender.

Paranoia

Did you feel the earthquake about lunch time today?

I was having lunch with my officemates at a mall when we felt the earth moved. We were kinda scared because we're on the top floor and we are in Glorietta, so we first thought there's another explosion that made the mall shake. We later realize it was an earthquake, still scary and we hurriedly finish our meal and head back to the office. I think we're still having paranoia at Glorietta, it's our favorite hang out ever since college and with the wood surrounding the ground zero, anyone who was there that day would remember how scary that explosion was. Anyway, it is once again a rainy day and I still feel gloomy. This sadness is getting a little old and even I are getting tired of it so I'm sorry if I'm not blog hopping or posting much, I don't think it safe for me to be around other people I might just explode.

Printing Peak Season

We are in the printing business and besides the election, Christmas is also our peak season. Most companies hire us to for their company's office paper with letterhead to be used for the upcoming year. Some of our clients also want a specialized calendar for giveaways and we are also printing a lot of invitations and one of the highest costs in our business is the ink, we use different kind of inks for ever specialized printer and sometimes it really costs too much. It’s a good thing that we found a Cartridge Finder for all our printing needs.

Somebody's Duplicating My Posts

I'm exhausted but before I call it a night and head to bed, I just can't help but rant about finding out that somebody is reposting my entries and that certain blog is using an RSS feed to fetch my entries and reposting them in their blog. I HATE THAT! I always try to keep my blog entries personal and even if I have three active blogs I rarely duplicate my own post. I always try to give my readers something new to read about and then I'll find out that somebody else is posting my entries as if it was their own, imagine even my own feelings are being posted on that blog! Annoying! Thanks to Technorati and I'm not really sure on what actions I'm going to make but I will definitely do something about this.

Home Theater
My brother and I have our eyes set of having a home theater very soon and since we both enjoy watching movies, we really want to have that set up in our own home. We’re even thinking of getting a leather home theater seating just to get that same feeling and experience you get when you are inside a cinema. Better Days

One of which is the famous Yamashita treasure, a Japanese general who was believed to have buried tons of gold in several areas in the Philippines during the World War II. Well, everything was hearsay, although there were rumors that Ferdinand Marcos (our former president) already took those gold bullion and this is the one of the source of the enormous wealth that the former president’s family is enjoying right now. Gold is truly a unique and valuable investment and unlike money it does not loses its value and it is universally accepted. Do you believe that Yamashita really left a lot of gold treasures here in the Philippine? Nah ~ Wherever it is I hope I can find one ^-^

Behind The Decision

I started blogging in 2004, at first I was just merely posting my angst towards my Lupus illness and at that time my anger towards the people from church who betrayed me. I just want to release everything that I cannot truly tell to anyone. As years passed by, I noticed that most of my friends are monetizing their blogs. I don't want to. I just think that I will lose the purpose of my blog when I enter into pro-blogging, but when my friends started to blog about their earnings I got curious and I decided to give it a try. Now, I am already earning a lot especially with my domain blog (Dancing With Butterflies) where I'm getting lot of people who want to advertise on it, some of it I had to decline because it doesn't fit my theme. In just a month I have earned a lot to purchase some stuff from eBay and next month, I will be purchasing this solely from my blog earnings....
It also helps a lot with my daily expense and I am starting to enjoy it now, although sometimes I am receiving so much task assignments that I can't cope up.

Thousand Photographs

Everything’s digital these days and you’ll be amazed by how technology keep on improving itself. Do you remember when you need to save your files on a diskette? How about developing your pictures from a film roll? Well, that’s all in the past now. We are depended on the mini flash drives now to save our files and who needs a film roll when you have a micro sd that can save up to a thousand photograph. I guess, technology really works well at least for me.

Get Into Sports

I love sports, well at least I used to. I was a tennis player and I also played volleyball back in high school. When I was in college, our university was just around a golf course and my friends and I used to watch them play. We even saw some celebrities playing golf and I really didn’t know what the game was all about. I find it rather boring since you don’t really move a lot. The equipments too are bulky and heavy, but I do love the outfit and the golf shoes. Well, since its not a physical sports I can probably try it but then again I am not allowed to be exposed in the sun… so I guess, I’ll just stick with indoor badminton and arcade basketball

Weekend Snapshot #11
I had an emotional weekend but enough of that... I want to start the week with a smile and a beautiful snapshot of a restaurant at a rooftop of one of the top hotel in Manila. I had lunch there yesterday with a friend I have not seen in awhile. It was a calming sight and a peaceful place to catch up with an old friend.
